Return to True Self

We all suffer through life in one way or another. Each individual’s reason for suffering is different, but many common points exist. One of the main common points of suffering is that we lose our true selves as we grow, and the farther we get from our true selves, the worse we feel. We do not know anything about worrying, negative thoughts, or endless life goals as we enter this world. We only seek love. Our true self has no name and knows no gender, race, language, or address. We learn all negative thoughts and emotions as we grow, and these negative thoughts and emotions present themselves as unpleasant bodily sensations. We learn to think dark, feel bad and ache.

But in the same way that the farther we get from our true self, the worse we feel; the closer we get to our true self, the better we start to feel. This is probably the most crucial piece of knowledge we can acquire in this life. But returning to our true selves depends on our decisions, habits, readiness for change, and practices for change.
